The Annex now proudly provides nearly 50 units of housing-focused shelter and permanent supportive housing with coordinated supportive services integrated on-site in collaboration with our community partners.
Following the successful conversion of a former motel, The Annex now provides a safe, accessible transitional space for individuals and families from Hood River, Wasco, and Sherman counties.

Transitional Housing & Shelter
The Annex facility includes over 50 units of housing-focused shelter and permanent supportive housing (PSH). These include 21 units for long-term PSH and 11 units dedicated to families with children.
Services
Our 24/7 on-site staff ensure smooth daily operations, and security.
Property support staff are onsite 7 days/week, while case managers are available to guests 5 days/week. Contracted security is staffed nightly to ensure safety for guests overnight.
Clients have access to culturally responsive case management, Oregon Health Plan enrollment, food stamps enrollment, healthcare, behavioral healthcare, jail diversion programming, employment resources, and rapid rehousing resources.

We are grateful to Oregon Community Foundation and the Oregon State Legislature for providing the funds to purchase and convert the former Oregon Motor Motel into The Annex housing-focused shelter.
Additional funding partners include Oregon Housing and Community Services, The Roundhouse Foundation, Columbia Gorge Health Council, Oregon Food Bank, and Mid-Columbia Center for Living.
